Hyatt House Austin/Downtown

Spent Christmas weekend with my woman at this hotel. This stay was an amazing experience that went above my expectations - previous reviews mentioned lack of parking and steep valet prices, but there was ample on-street parking and I never worried about my vehicle being broken into. Street parking prices on the weekends are reasonable - and free on Sundays. The room had the feel of an upscale, AirBNB apartment and if you get the corner room like I did, the view doesn't disappoint. Furniture was comfortable and all the dishes we needed were clean including the wine opener! - but you have to open the dishwasher to find them, lol. No complaints about breakfast - food was good, there was decent variety, and multiple seating options. The absolute BEST part of this property is the staff - they take customer service to an absolute new level. Most of my interactions was with Elizabeth F. at the front desk and she was phenomenal! She did everything in her power to ensure my stay was fantastic, and she deserves a raise! Even the bartenders and breakfast staff were outstanding - helpful, courteous, and efficient at their jobs, Fine work by all. Highly recommend staying at this property. Just pick a floor with an ice machine on it, lol.

We loved the quiet location and yet walking distance from anything in downtown. Breakfast perfect! The areas are clean and so cozy and zen designed, very harmonious and balanced. The Service was wonderful! Everybody was so attentive, kind and welcoming, very hommie feeling and natural :) Very clean, communication was excellent and everyone willing to help at all times. They really made us feel at home. Loved it! God bless you all.
